we think you'll notice that there is something different about us. Maybe it's the local art on the walls, the easy camaraderie between our staff and our regular customers, or just the delicious, fresh food stocked in our cases. Located in beautiful and friendly downtown Chico, we consider ourselves a product of our surroundings.

where strangers greet each other on the street and we're the kind of bakery where you can come in and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a delectable pastry, or have a healthy lunch with friends, without having to hassle with a complicated menu or confusing corporate lingo.

All of our food

is hand-made fresh on site with the utmost care and attention. Our staff is dedicated to producing and serving food they can be proud of- which is why our pastries, lunch, and desserts have become a Chico tradition. And when you spend money here, you know it goes back to the community- because we call Chico and northern California our home just like you.
